Why so serious son?
Not sweating the small stuff.
My favorite line from the character The Joker; is “Why so serious son?”.
It is my favorite question to pose to my son when he comes to me with heavy complaints.
My intent is always for him to look at things with a new perspective and perhaps even lighten up.
For that to happen; one needs to take a step back.
Give yourself a moment to RESPOND not react.
A great way to do that is laugh.
When I burn a new recipe, or I walk into a table; I don’t get pissed any more about it.
Nah…. I just laugh.
One of the first examples of the law of attraction that hit home for me was; the analogy of stubbing your toe first thing in the morning.
After that occurance ask yourself 2 questions:
· Do you see that as a sign that the rest of the day is going to go bad?
· Or do you see it as a to pay more attention to the day?
The way you answer is your mindset.
Life is meant to be fun!
The bumps and bruises we get along the way are part of the human experience.
Getting what you don’t want; can lead you to refining what you DO want.
The choice is yours.
Stubbing my toe on my bed every morning guided me to declutter.
A direct resolute of decluttering my life felt brighter.
Getting caught in the rain became refreshing not gateway to pneumonia.
The wifi going down became a chance to daydream or finish reading a book.
The evidence of the life YOU are creating is all around you.
When that really lands; One starts to become more picky about when and how long the emotion of anger sticks around.
Thank you for letting me share.
Be kind. Be well. Smile.
