Visualize and connect to the true YOU.

According to Merriam-webster.com the definition of a paradigm shift is:

‘An important change that happens when the usual way of thinking about or doing something is replaced by a new way of thinking about or doing something is replaced by a new and different way.
This discovery will bring about a paradigm shift in our understanding of evolution.’

The Universe really wanted me to learn about ‘paradigm shifts’ this year.

I heard it the phrase everywhere I went.

I was definitely being guided to explore it more.

I had been researching ‘vibration’ meditation videos when I stumbled onto Aaron Doughty’s video about raising your dominate vibration.

This meditation helped me shift to a new paradigm of oneself.

To the true self.
To behave without the constriction of limited beliefs or a fear of what others think of you.

I desire this.

I desire to always be in my highest vibration.

I approached this meditation as a tool. Not a cure all.
After listening it for a month every single night before bed.
I began to notice micro movements in my behavior.
Micro behavior shifts that are in vibration of the person I know I am meant to be.

The first limit that fell away rather quickly was the victim mentality.

It became abundantly clear to me that;

I was not the only one in the world whom had a fu@k up childhood.

Didn’t matter what walk of life you came from.

A dysfunctional family is not unique.

That excuse doesn’t jive anymore.

This year, I had to move back to Florida for a ‘time out’ to recover from an injury.

Between the pandemic and the constrictions of my movement; I had some time to get precise on exactly what I want.

Having a positive mindset is instrumental to my health.

One of the first micro habits I adopted is whispering to myself:

“ENERGETIC. HEALTHY. HAPPY BODY.”

As I feel myself waking up a tip from Deepak Chopra.

Then take a few moments to visualize myself running the loop of State Beach that runs in between Edgartown and Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard.

My happy place.

Sometimes, I am running a portion of Katama Road listening to the roaring waves feeling the sand gently stroke me as the wind glides off the dunes.

I shift myself into a healthy state of being.

Feeling joy in the movement of my body as I glide down the street.

To me this is a paradigm shift.

I have placed myself into an image of the end result I wish to achieve.

It is not up to me to figure out the how.

‘Everything is working out for me.’

Upon completion of the visualization; I silence my mind with meditation.

Just the other day at physical therapy I was instructed to do a particular exercise that I had not experienced before. I was apprehensive about this exercise and clocked some fear. I gave myself a moment with a deep breath. Then moved into a place of love and stated:
‘Mind over matter. Mind controls matter.’

Needless to say, I completed the exercise; with slight fumble, a laugh and HUGE sense of accomplishment.

I had moved past the point in which my subconscious been letting me go.
I understood that my mind was just protecting me.
I choose to let go and TRUST.

I have now been doing that particular exercise every day.

I celebrate this evidence of my shift.

There are a lot of meditation videos floating around YouTube to dabble with a paradigm shift.

I recommend Bod Proctor’s “Shift your Paradigm” meditation exercises.

The one I have linked below is about 16 minutes. There is another one about 45 minutes.

I hope this gave you the inspiration to do your own research on a paradigm shift.

After all…

There can never be too many ways for you STEP INTO YOUR MAGIC!!!

Thank you for letting me share!!!

Be kind. Be well. Smile.
